Portable Vegetable Garden

Well this was something i decided would be the best way for our neck of the woods and a cheap way to develop our veggies. Maybe next year we will do like the old guy next door and put up an electric fence to keep the deer and other wildlife out of our buffet. And so farrrrr the veggies are doing great in our small garden. Pretty much experimental on the deck in VERY LARGE Flower pots , and with only 2 people living in this garden world, i think this will work quite nicely.
So far 10 tomatoes have sprouted on the one and only tomato plant, LOL!! and still waiting to see the results of the green peppers.

Remember Sometime In The Future

If you have seen some of the prior postings of my progress I will be finding some time to go one step further in developing what took me almost 20 years of my previous residence, but I guess that's why they say take one day at a time and it will all fall into place.

This is definitely a long process but it will be well appreciated when i can sit back and look at all that has transpired. Some people can do everything all at once but others take a little longer but OH WELL!! I am one of those that will be taking a little longer, hmmm!!

The concrete block walls sure don't do any justice for a backdrop on the flower beds. Hopefully a brick foundation look is in the future (no decisions made thus far).

I can't imagine any building here until bobcat and truckloads of sand, gravel, and more gravel were rolling in and out but the contractors were building faster than i could keep up with keeping the camera in hand, but it is all well worth the time and money to put it all together, only one small problem, (now I can't see the Alpaca farm) which is behind this mammoth pole building.

The septic system is working fine now as you may have seen in the previous posting an additional curtain drain was put in place for reasons of small backup at the divertor box, YUK!! I had my share of a sub pump and a concrete cover falling and splattering mud and whatever else you can imagine entering into a septic and out to the drain fields, something needed to be done.

Well Everyone that will be enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend I will be working to get your mail delivered in the snail way sooooo please enjoy and be safe!!

Energy In A Different Way

Everyone seems to have a different way of handling their energy levels and finding a simple way isnt always easy, but when you are on the go alot and sometimes not able to eat on a schedule like most people i keep these with me for a filler until i am able to eat the nutrients we all need. Very convenient packaging too. Mix the Energy Tablet with an 8 ounce glass of tap water (or bottled water) and you are on your way to an energy level so different from Red Bull, Monster, etc.

I offer more than just weight loss products, HERBALIFE PRODUCTS that i offer are kinda pricey but you get what you pay for (at least i feel that way). for more information go to www.herbalife.com but if you find something you like instead of ordering thru the website, i keep my inventory here to keep the costs down, contact me at healthforme@sbcglobal.net if you see something of interest.

Have a great day everyone!!

Over Abundance

This is crazy for some of you to wonder why so many caps, welllll i guess as we get older (50) we find things to do that some people never think about and we (co-worker and myself) have combined our points and just waiting for the right thing to buy or reward our thirst. Who knew you could get a subscription to a magazine or a movie ticket , etc. with just a few caps and enter them on www.mycokerewards.com. Have fun capping or rewarding, LOL!!

Sometime in the Future

Yes, i have been away for awhile. It is a garden project that will take longer than i anticipated with my busy work (occupation) schedule and when starting from scratch its a move this here thing no maybe here and then changing again.

The robins have been leaving their mark and I have to keep my distance from momma robin while she takes care of her little ones and i thought the groundhogs were an issue at the residential flowerbeds, not here, i have only seen one but the rest i am dealing with quite well, its a trial and error. Plantings are so different from what it was in the city, hmmm!! Always learning new things about the wildlife here, the crows were always picking at the garden and the neighbor would come over and place the plantings back in the soil and then tell me about it later.

Well back to my project. wish me luck and of course there will be more to come in our lessons of gardening.

Divided and Multiplied

Taking a lifetime (yep, i am making this up) but i really did like the flowerbeds at the residential lot, no problems with the deer but the groundhogs sure took a liking. I have started the new flowerbeds and wish they would be able to advance forward in their growth but thats not gonna happen anytime soon. Maybe in another 10 years the new will look like this. I will post the new flowerbeds after the rains so we can all have a good laugh.

Spring?! Well Almost

The last few days were picture perfect, but we all know its not over yet even thou the flowers and people are coming back to life.

I took this picture of the Clock Tower around the corner from where i live and it actually does Chime on the hour, i don't know about on the half hour, it was chiming 3 o'clock as i took the picture and i didnt even plan it that way, still snow on the ground a few weeks ago and i have a friend, "believe it or not" , i do have friends, but they are all spread out all over the United States now, but she brought me cheer when she sent the picture of the Mini Wild Roses that grow in her backyard in Houston, TX., and of course our wonderful Goodyear Blimp that tools around like no care in the world which would be what i want to have "no cares".

Well, back to the world of the literally blue collar working atmosphere tomorrow, doom and gloom it is. I actually came into the Postal World 13 years ago on St Patrick's Day!!
